Boscobel Quartet returns to WLBC: Schubert, Mozart & Beethoven on Saturday 26 January

Published on Jan 17th 2019, in News

WLBC’s concert series regularly provides the opportunity to hear world class professional musicians playing music they love in an intimate, informal setting. The concert next Saturday (26 January 7pm) by the Boscobel Quartet is a great example of the creativity and connections that can come out of these rather special events. Composed of freelance professionals who both tour the world and contribute to some of London’s leading orchestras and ensembles, the Boscobel quartet originally formed to play in a WLBC fundraising concert in October 2016. They enjoyed the experience so much they decided to carry on playing together, and this is their third concert at the Centre. Their events here are increasingly well known and popular, and this particular concert is dedicated to the memory of Jinananda, a much loved teacher and friend to many people at WLBC who died in December 2017, so it’s likely to sell out – advance booking is highly recommended!  Full details and booking information
