Death Conversation Cafe this Saturday
Recollection of our mortality is an important Buddhist practice, but it’s not about being sad or sombre – it’s about getting a sense of perspective and remembering to make the most of life.
So it’s fitting that the Centre should regularly host a Death Conversation Cafe, an event where people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death ‘to increase awareness of death with a view to helping us make the most of their (finite) lives’. The last of these this year is coming up this Saturday 15 December 2.30-4.30pm. You don’t have to be interested in Buddhism to come, all mortals are welcome.
