An afternoon to explore what it means to make a commitment to the Buddhist path at WLBC.

Anyone is welcome to participate in WLBC’s activities, whether they consider themselves a Buddhist or not.  But for people who want to go more deeply into Buddhist practice, and are drawn to committing themselves to the Buddhist path, there is also the opportunity to do this by becoming a ‘mitra’, or ‘friend’ of the Triratna Buddhist Community, of which WLBC is a part. This special event explores what this means: the role of commitment, what being a mitra means in practical terms, and what resources and opportunities for practice it opens up.

2-3pm Welcome, meditation and introduction
3-4pm Short talks
4-4.30pm Discussion
