Six Monday evenings.

This course is suitable for people who have done our introduction to meditation course. The emphasis of this course will be on the “just sitting” practice, and on walking meditation.

When we first learn to meditate, we inevitably bring with us expectations about what we think might happen. Maybe we want to stop habitual thinking, or simply be less stressed out. Maybe we think it will make us a better person, or at least a bit nicer. But at some point, we realise that to take the practice further we’re going to have to drop our expectations and step more fully into the unknown.

Join us as we explore coming into a more direct and real relationship with what is actually happening in our meditation, rather than what we think should be happening: the apparent paradox of how to turn towards and embrace what we habitually tend to ignore or block out in our experience.
