**We are open as usual Easter weekend apart from Fri March 30th Restorative yoga 5.30pm and Mon April 2nd Beginners yoga 5.15pm classes are cancelled.**

All our drop-in classes for the Yoga Studio programme are listed below. To check for any changes or cancellations this week, please take a look at the calendar linked below.

Booking is not required for our classes except for Trauma and Tension Release Exercises with Vilasamani, for information and booking click here.

Ashtanga Yoga starts with a simple, highly effective practice of movement aligned with breathing, known as vinyasa. Each vinyasa links a sequenced number of held postures (asanas). Repetition of the sequencing commits it to memory. Ashtanga Yoga is suitable for all levels of practitioner.

The approach in Gentle Yoga is holistic. This class embraces different types of yoga and includes some aspects of Pilates. There will be a variety of movements to strengthen and release muscles in all parts of the body. The philosophy is to use the breath to heal and massage different organs and joints to help release toxins and tension.

Restorative yoga

An event every week that begins at 6:30pm on Wednesday, repeating until Tuesday, December 31st, 2019

This class is a therapeutic style of yoga which uses props to support the body in poses that are held for up to 10 minutes. Most of the positions are supine (lying down) therefore it is an opportunity for you to thoroughly relax and restore. The support of the blocks, bricks or bolsters facilitates a deeper sense of relaxation so you can truly restore without any movement of effort. (All levels)
