Buddha Day is the great Buddhist festival throughout the Buddhist world – the anniversary of the Buddha’s awakening, and so the very beginning of his tradition. Do come and celebrate! All welcome, no charge.

  • 1pm meditation with Tarakarunya (a mini zen sesshin with sitting and walking meditation)
  • 2.30pm readings with Silakirti
  • 3.30pm tea
  • 4pm talk by Ratnaprabha ‘A Tree in May’: why do sacred trees pop-up at every crucial moment in the Buddha’s life, and what is the Bodhi Tree?5pm Puja led by Tarakarunya
