Six Wednesdays 27 February-3 April 7-9.30pm

Each of our ‘Basic Buddhism’ courses focuses on a particular teaching from the Buddhist tradition, and the ‘threefold path’ of ethics, meditation and wisdom is perhaps the most pithy, powerful and far-reaching teaching of them all. Find out what it means in real-life practical, experiential terms, and how it could help significant positive change to unfold in your life and in the world around you.

This course is open to anyone who has learnt to meditate. It is an excellent follow-on from our Introduction to Buddhism course, but also works well as a first course on Buddhism if you’re already familiar with meditation. If you’ve been coming to some or our drop-in Buddhism classes and want a more in-depth understanding of this key Buddhist teaching, it would be ideal. It is also a helpful foundation for our ‘Going Deeper’ classes and retreats.

There is a small and strictly limited number of low-cost bursary places available for those who cannot afford the course fee. Please contact the Centre office if you wish to apply.
