This 8-week Breathworks Mindfulness for Health course is open to all but is particularly helpful for those with short or long-term physical health conditions, chronic pain and related stress. The course has benefited people with particular conditions such as back pain, diabetes, insomnia, chronic fatigue, migraines, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, menopause, cancer or other long-term illness. Most people completing an 8-week Breathworks course report lasting benefits including a greater capacity to manage their health symptoms through pacing and experience increased calm, confidence, energy, enthusiasm and appreciation of life.
Through guided meditation, group discussion, experiential activities and supported home practice you will be introduced to a number of simple yet powerful mindfulness practices by an experienced Breathworks Accredited Teacher. Most people completing the course report a boost in psychological and physical well-being and find new sources of resilience, joy, kindness and calm to cope better with the stresses and strains of daily life.

Suitability and booking
The course is open to all. We have introductory ‘taster’ sessions throughout the year, please register your interest here.
Although mindfulness is an effective practice it may not be appropriate for everybody and the course cannot substitute for medical advice or professional treatment.
Once you have booked on to a course, final confirmation will be subject to completion of a short questionnaire and an informal discussion with your course leader about the course’s suitability for you at this time. The questions will ask you for a bit more information about yourself, any specific condition that brings you to the course and your motivation. This will help you and the course leader explore how best to support your process over the 8-weeks. If it is decided that the course is not suitable at this stage a full refund will be offered.
A full refund or a transfer to another 8-week Breathworks Mindfulness for Health or Mindfulness for Stress course in the same year up to 7 days before the event starts.

Bookings are fully refundable up to 7 days in advance. After that we cannot usually offer refunds.
