Six Wednesdays from 20 January to 3 March (no class on Wednesday 10 February), 7-9.15pm

This 6 week course will focus on the wisdoms of the five Archetypal Buddhas, a mandala of Buddhas embodying the heart of Enlightenment. Through talks and discussion, meditation and reflection, mantra chanting and ritual we will explore how the unique wisdom of each Buddha is a gateway to insight.

Whether we cultivate Akshobya’s Mirror-Like Wisdom or Amoghasiddhi’s All-Accomplishing Wisdom, Ratnasambhava’s Wisdom of Equality or Amitabha’s Discriminating Wisdom or perhaps Vairocana’s Wisdom of the Dharmadhatu (which encompasses all the wisdoms), we will experience an awakening of our hearts and minds. Any one of the Five Wisdoms can lead to a new perspective and approach to life and they offer very practical ways to both enhance and integrate our everyday and our spiritual life. We will also be engaging our creativity and imagination as we explore the rich symbolism associated with each Buddha.
