The Dharma Night class is a chance to explore Buddhism and meditation through a rolling programme of presentations and small group discussions. Open to all who have learnt meditation. A Buddhism course is a good way in to this class, but you are very welcome whether or not you have done a course. You can listen to recordings of some of the talks at www.freebuddhistaudio.com.

New Theme from January 2021:

Beautiful Mind, Beautiful World

Through this theme we will explore the nature of mind, particularly as presented in the Abhidharma, the earliest systematisation of the Buddha’s teachings. The Abhidharma attempts to give clarity around what we mean by mind. However, it goes further than a mere theory of the mind. The elucidation of mind and mental states that the Abhidharma presents is primarily directed towards their transformation. This is a development of the fundamental and liberating teaching of the Buddha that by transforming our minds we can transform our experience of the world. By making our minds beautiful, we can make the world beautiful.

Every five weeks or so we will approach the theme though Vajradaka’s innovative and practical approaches to developing the basic qualities of mind that support its transformation.

Join us for a journey of deepening into mind, our greatest asset – a journey that will take us into the spring.
