A mitra making an offeringExplore what it means to make a commitment to the Buddhist path at WLBC

Saturday 3 March 2-4.30pm
with Lilamani, Ratnaprabha and Yashobodhi

What helps you to grow and flourish as the unique person that you are? WLBC’s classes and activities are intended to help everyone find their own answer, whether through meditation, mindfulness, Buddhist practice, arts, yoga and bodywork or simply being part of a positive community. They are largely open to anyone, whether or not they think of themselves as Buddhists, or are even interested in Buddhism. People are welcome to participate in our programme as much or as little as they like, and take from it whatever they find useful.

But for people who want to go more deeply into Buddhist practice, and are drawn to committing themselves to the Buddhist path, there is also the opportunity to do this by becoming a ‘mitra’, or ‘friend’ of the Triratna Buddhist Community, of which WLBC is a part. This special event explores what this means: the role of commitment, what being a mitra means in practical terms, and what resources and opportunities for practice it opens up.

Join other People of Colour to explore The Way of Truth on this meditation day retreat, 1st December. Learn more here, book here.
