Urgyen Sangharakshita 1925-2018
We are sad to inform you that Urgyen Sangharakshita, the Founder of the Triratna Buddhist Order, passed away this morning.
Here at the West London Buddhist Centre, as well as our usual classes, you are very welcome to join us in the following events:
We will be holding a daily session in the Shrine Room (2-3 pm, weekdays, commencing Wednesday 31 October), where we can practise, chant and share memories of our Teacher to keep Bhante in our hearts. We will be doing this for 49 days.
The next four Fridays (2, 9, 16, 23 November, 7 pm) our Practice Evening will be a dedication of merit for Bhante Sangharakshita.
