Do not disturb
do not disturb
Who would have thought that the hotel housekeeping sign ‘Do not Disturb’ points to how we might live our lives?
Not as a hermit, not on permanent retreat, not plugged into our phones or iPads on tubes or trains. Not withdrawing from or pushing away others.
But settling deep within to find our own inner sense of stability, space and sunshine. So we can then ride what some have called the ‘moving wave of change’. That wave, that change is in fact us. We do not move in isolation, we are part of a dance with other waves – following, leading, responding. Reaching down to the depths, opening up to breadth. Giving birth, living, dying.
All pouring out of and flowing into that indescribable glimpse of undisturbed ahhh dwelling within.
With a bow
