Saturday Morning Meditation (in-person)

Get your weekend off to a great start with a morning of calming and grounding meditation. Each session will include both a led and unled meditation along with teaching input and opportunities for Q & A and experiential learning. We will bring a body-based, creative and imaginative approach to meditation as we explore both traditional and new ways of working with key practices like the Mindfulness of Breathing, the Metta Bhavana (development of loving kindness meditation), Just Sitting and the Bodyscan. While this class is open to all it is aimed at those who have already learned to meditate and who wish to take their practice deeper.
From 1 October 2021, this class returns to a drop-in format, no booking required.
We are delighted to be offering in-person events again but have in place guidelines so collectively we can minimise the risk of spreading infection and continue to build our in-person programme. We ask that:
- You do not come to the Centre if you are feeling unwell.
- Use the provided hand sanitizer frequently.
- Maintain social distancing as best as possible, seating will be arranged accordingly.
- Face coverings are not mandatory, except in the case of chanting.
