Go on a ‘micro-retreat’ right here in West London – every Saturday!
Widen and deepen your meditation practice. These sustained sessions of alternate unled sitting and walking meditation can produce a profound effect and set you up for the week to come. They are silent, with a phone app used as a timer.
Join for as little or as long as suits you.
Structure
*40 minutes Mindfulness of Breathing
*25 minutes walking
*50 minutes Metta Bhavana
*25 minutes walking
*30 minutes Just Sitting
Followed by an optional tea and a discussion of how your meditation went.
These sessions began in 2012, led by the late WLBC teacher Jinananda (d 2017) with a core group of practitioners. The original meditators use the name ‘Jinananda Group’ in tribute to the group’s founder.
