Reflexology is an ancient, non-invasive art that that applies pressure to specific acupoints and nerve endings located in the feet.  By seeking out and working on congested chi (energy) pathways, toxins are broken down and released.   The subsequent positive reflex actions stimulate the body’s natural healing process as the energy is realigned and the mind experiences a sense of calm.

Reflexology treats the mind, body and soul in unison believing the three to be intrinsically linked – i.e. if one part suffers then the other parts suffer too.  Heal one and the rest will follow…

Reflexology can help with the following symptoms:

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Insomnia
  • Migraine and headaches
  • Hormonal imbalances –  PMT, menopause & fertility issues
  • Stomach disorders –  IBS
  • Asthma, coughs and colds
  • Joint aches and pains

Marianne Wallis-King is a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR) and is CNHC registered having qualified from the CNM College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2011, where she trained in the Eunice Ingham Method.  In 2013 she qualified in Indian Head Massage and went on to join the Healing Hands Network (HHN), a charity dedicated to easing the suffering of victims of war.  Through the HHN, she has spent much of her time working at Combat Stress with veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Marianne’s holistic approach aims to help her clients “find their find feet” within the modern world and set them on the road to stability.  She has an intuitive and empathetic touch that helps to rejuvenate the mind, body and soul.  She has worked with all ages, old and young, including teenagers suffering from adolescent angst.  Her work with trauma victims has seen first hand the benefits of Reflexology and other complementary therapies, Mindfulness & Meditation techniques.  As such, she regularly attends the West London Buddhist Centre which she believes to be the perfect therapeutic environment.

Marianne regularly attends relevant CPD Courses on a broad range of subjects.  She is currently expanding her knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine by studying Five Elements Reflexology and recently acquired an NVQ Level 2 in Mental Health Awareness.
