West London Buddhist Centre

I have been practising meditation for over 40 years, and am a fully accredited Breathworks teacher, specialising in Mindfulness for Health courses. I am inspired by how these simple teachings can transform the lives of people with debilitating chronic pain. I have been ordained in the Triratna Buddhist Order since 1992, and was chair of the Edinburgh Buddhist Centre for 9 years, have worked in a Right Livelihood business, Friends Foods, also for 9 years, lived and worked at Taraloka Retreat Centre for 6 years. More recently I, together with a colleague, have been delivering a simplified version of the Mindfulness for Health course in London’s East End, tailored for the local community with limited English, low literacy and low income. These courses are free to the participants: more information at https://takebackyourlife.org.uk.
