I have been practising meditation for over 40 years, and am a fully accredited Breathworks teacher, specialising in Mindfulness for Health courses. I am inspired by how these simple teachings can transform the lives of people with debilitating chronic pain. I have been ordained in the Triratna Buddhist Order since 1992, and was chair of the Edinburgh Buddhist Centre for 9 years, have worked in a Right Livelihood business, Friends Foods, also for 9 years, lived and worked at Taraloka Retreat Centre for 6 years. More recently I, together with a colleague, have been delivering a simplified version of the Mindfulness for Health course in London’s East End, tailored for the local community with limited English, low literacy and low income. NB: The Centre will be closed on 23 and 24 December. The Studio will be closed from 21 December to 5 January 2020. We will kick off the new year with an Open Day on Saturday 4 January!
