Maymay Knight
Maymay has been exploring the world of yoga since 1996 and has enjoyed learning and practising many styles over the years, including Ashtanga, Yin, Hatha, Scaravelli, Jivamukti and Restorative. She also practices tai chi, qigong, and meditation, and has a lifetime passion for dance, all of which weave themselves into her personal yoga practice and teaching.
Maymay’s emphasis is on walking the edge between comfort and challenge, developing self-kindness, exploring mindful movement, developing and refining a deeper relationship with ourselves and our bodies, and finding a connection to an inner stillness and peace of mind. Her personal practice is strongly influenced by yoga, Buddhist and Taoist philosophy, and she tries each day to live according to her ethical principles, both on and off the mat. Maymay is a qualified yoga teacher, registered with the Yoga Alliance.
