We say goodbye to the piano
Some of you may have noticed that the beautiful baby grand piano which stood so nobly in the corner of our reception area has now vanished.
We wanted you to know that this piano, which had been such a magnet for the musical events held at the WLBC in the past, is on its way to another appreciative home.
This gorgeous instrument had been in Bodhilila’s (our former chair and resident music event master) family for many years. Happily, it will soon be played by another member of Bodhilila’s family, who in fact grew up playing it.
Thank you to Bodhilila for lending the WLBC this piece of creativity, of heart, of dharma, to the many people who attended the music events in the past – and to the very skilful piano movers who so adeptly eased the piano on its way.
May its creativity infuse the forthcoming years of connection and sharing of the Dharma at the WLBC.
