Padmasambhava is famous for taming the demons who were destroying Samye monastery in 8th century Tibet.

He’s the master of transformation, of the spiritual community as much as the individual.

So we celebrate the ‘second Buddha’ on the day we rededicate our main shrine room, 16 months on from the flood that ruined it.

We will meditate on Padmasambhava and some of his most famous teachings. We’ll perform puja (worship) to him. There may also be Mitra ceremonies.

Here is the provisional programme:

2pm Rededication Ceremony and Meditation

3pm Talk by Amalavajra, WLBC Chair, on how best we can grow our sangha

4pm Tea and cake

5pm Puja and Mitra ceremonies

6.30pm end

Note: one of our community is allergic to coconut products (creams, shampoos, food) so please avoid wearing/bringing them.
